Individual Therapy

Individual therapy is conducted for 1 hour in a one-to-one format via Telehealth (video conference) or phone. While located on the Gold Coast, appointments are Australia wide.
Medicare Rebates
If you obtain a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP, you can receive a Medicare rebate for up to 10 sessions per calendar year of $141.85 so the out of pocket cost per session is $98.15.
NDIS
Clients under NDIS are welcome who are self-funded or plan-managed.
Private Health
Clients with private health insurance may have access to rebates for psychological treatment. Please check with your private health fund to determine if you are eligible to receive a rebate under ‘Extras’. If you are eligible, it will be your responsibility to process this directly with your private health fund.
Assessments
Starting from $1650
Assessments are intended for individuals wishing to explore whether they are Autistic, have ADHD or both. ADHD assessments are provided across the lifespan and Autism assessments are for those 15 years and older.
Assessments include:
Initial clinical interview
Observation session/s
Self-report questionnaires
Collateral information gathering
Scoring and report writing (with recommendations)
Feedback session
A 50% deposit is due at the time of booking or the initial appointment. The remaining amount is due prior to the feedback session and release of the report.

Supervision
$200 + GST
Supervision is provided to psychologists for 1 hour appointments via Telehealth (video conference) or phone.
Dr Kirra is a board approved and STAP approved supervisor.
Supervision is provided for provisional psychologists, clinical registrars, general and clinical psychologists.
Dr Kirra has provided supervision across a range of presenting problems.
No rebates are provided for supervision.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 48 hours notice. If less than 24 hours notice is provided, you will be charged a cancellation fee of 50% of the appointment fee.
If you cancel on the day of your scheduled appointment, you will be charged 100% of the appointment fee.
If you fail to attend an appointment without notice, you will be charged 100% of the appointment fee.
Letters/Reports
Please note that I require two weeks notice to complete a request for a letter and/or report. Letters an/or reports are charged on an hourly basis at the rate of: $240
